Stefan Mross, the popular host of the live show "Immer wieder sonntags", will return to the stage this weekend after a break following the loss of his mother. The live show, which has been broadcast by SWR for several years and is produced in an open-air arena at the Europa-Park in southern Rust, will air on Sunday at 10:00 AM on Das Erste.

Mross, a native of Traunstein, has been hosting "Immer wieder sonntags" since 2005, with a few exceptions. The live shows this summer have averaged 1.26 million viewers and an average market share of 16.92 percent, making them popular among viewers.

This Sunday's show will be a special one, as Swiss singer Beatrice Egli, Nicole, Inka Bause, Ronja, and Maximilian Arland are scheduled to appear. Beatrice Egli, known for her pop schlager music style and upcoming tour in 2026, will also be performing on Stefan Mross' last live show of the 2025 season.

Last week, Stefanie Hertel (46) stepped in as a host due to Mross taking a break following his mother's passing. Mross also missed a show in August 2010 due to mourning the loss of his father.

In addition to the good news about Mross' return, SWR has announced that his contract has been extended for hosting the show next year. Fans of "Immer wieder sonntags" can look forward to more of Mross' charismatic hosting in the future.
