Manchester's Camerata now officially collaborates with our online platform!

In an exciting development for the classical music industry, the Manchester Camerata has been announced as an Official Partner of a leading online platform dedicated to classical music. This partnership marks the first ever for the website in the Greater Manchester area, signifying a shared vision to make classical music accessible and relevant to everyone.

The Manchester Camerata, a pioneering chamber orchestra, is well-known for its innovative approach to music and its commitment to creating positive change within the industry. Bob Riley, CEO of Manchester Camerata, views this partnership as "magic" in their journey towards this goal.

The Manchester Camerata's Music Champions recruitment campaign has now named the website as its principal media partner. This partnership will see the website supporting the orchestra's vision in its transformative power of music, particularly in the context of the National Centre of Excellence for Music and Dementia.

The National Centre, hosted by the Manchester Camerata, is currently expanding its activity locally and nationally. The centre aims to help countless people living with dementia and their carers to use the power of music within their care plans. As part of this effort, the website will promote the award-winning work of the Manchester Camerata's National Centre of Excellence for Music and Dementia.

The partnership will also extend to the orchestra's live concerts and community-based programmes. For instance, three lunchtime concerts are planned as part of the Monastery series, aimed at local people and schools. The series, to be held at the Gorton venue, features concerts such as Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and Space: The Sounds of the Stars.

Other official partners of the website include leading orchestras such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra, Opera North, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and choir The Sixteen.

The new recording of early Mozart piano concertos by Manchester Camerata has been named the Album of the Week on the website, as featured with Alexander Armstrong. This collaboration promises to bring classical music to a wider audience and foster a deeper appreciation for this timeless art form.

The promotion of the Manchester Camerata and its initiatives on the website is a significant step towards making classical music more accessible and relevant to everyone. This partnership is set to redefine the landscape of classical music in the digital age.
