Kamchatka's 'Beeringia - 2025' Honors War Anniversary, Offers 70+ Events
Kamchatka's governor, Vladimir Solodov, has announced that the upcoming winter festival 'Beeringia - 2025' will honour the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War victory and the current special military operation defenders. The festival, celebrating its 35th year, will run until April 2025, featuring over 70 events for various age groups and categories.
Beeringia - 2025 will kick off with the regional exhibition-fair 'Fairytale Kamchatka', showcasing the region's unique culture and heritage. Dog lovers can enjoy 'Beeringia. Avacha', a thrilling dog sports event. The festival will also host the business forum 'Travel', focusing on sustainable tourism in the region. A highlight of the festival is the traditional Kamchatka dog sled race 'Beeringia', which aims to preserve and promote the ancient traditions of the Far North's peoples.
