Four Queens hotel in Las Vegas completes $24 million tower reconstruction project
Four Queens Hotel-Casino Completes $24 Million North Tower Renovation
The Four Queens hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas has completed a significant renovation project on its North Tower, costing $24 million. The project, which began in June 2024, was finished on time and on budget, with some rooms opening to guests as early as this weekend and full completion expected by early September 2025.
The renovation focused on updating the North Tower's HVAC and plumbing systems, as well as remodeling all 300 hotel rooms. The newly remodeled rooms now feature sound-dampening windows, larger bathrooms, fresh carpeting, new furniture, 50-inch televisions, mini-fridges, in-room coffee makers, and closet organizers.
The North Tower originally opened in 1966 and had its last renovation in 1999. The South Tower of the property, which has 400 rooms, was also recently renovated. The newly renovated rooms at the North Tower have advanced online booking rates starting at $69 per weekend night.
Tim Lager, the general manager of the Four Queens hotel-casino, described the renovated rooms as having undergone a "dramatic change." He stated that the project was necessary and resulted in a significant change. All hotel rooms at Four Queens will become non-smoking starting August 15, 2025.
It's worth noting that the Four Queens and its sister property, Binion's Gambling Hall, are both owned by Terry Caudill’s TLC Casino Enterprises. The company acquired Four Queens in 2003 and Binion’s in 2008.
Despite the extensive renovation, no changes were made to the casino area of the Four Queens hotel-casino. The hotel does not charge a resort fee on its rooms, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travellers.
